With more than three decades of experience in music publishing, Steve plays a key role in ensuring Round Hill delivers scalable, data-driven performance across its catalog management and royalty platforms. 

Prior to joining Round Hill in 2020, Steve spent nearly 20 years at Warner Chappell Music, where he held a variety of senior operations and rights administration roles, including Executive Vice President of Global Operations. He led the company’s digital transformation, centralizing global operations, establishing a technology hub in Asia and designing and delivering a global contracts, copyright and royalty platform that significantly improved income tracking and revenue performance. 

Steve began his career as a music editor at International Music Publications (IMP), where his published arrangements remain in print. He later became Head of Publishing and Copyright, building deep expertise in licensing, copyright and music rights monetization. 

A respected leader in the industry, Steve has served on the boards of the Music Publishers Association (MPA), the International Confederation of Music Publishers (ICMP) and the International Music Publishers Association (IMPA). In 2019, he received the MPA’s Tony Pool Award for outstanding contributions to music administration and was appointed to the Board of Advisors at Audoo in 2024, supporting innovation in royalty distribution through technology and data. Steve holds a degree in music from the University of Liverpool. He lives in the UK with his family and continues to perform as a pianist and trombonist.
