James is Chief Capital Officer at Round Hill and is responsible for fundraising outside North America.

He has more than 25 years of international corporate finance and private equity experience.
Prior to joining Round Hill, James led the Investment Companies division at Cavendish, advising listed and alternative asset funds on corporate finance and restructuring. He was the lead advisor to the Round Hill Music Royalty Fund during its listing in London.
Earlier in his career, James held senior roles across Europe, Africa and Asia, with a focus on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and organizational transformation.
Outside of work, James is an avid sportsman and musician, and an active supporter of education-focused philanthropic initiatives in Africa. He is also the founder and non-executive director of Linea Capital Partners, which provides growth capital to entrepreneurial businesses across Africa to drive revenue and job creation.
